  Fabulous little watering hole. Struggled when first opened a year or so ago. Now got their act together. Great staff, menu not massive but very tasty and drinks reasonably priced.

  My partner and I popped in on Sunday to have a quick bite to eat (to soak up the previous nights drinks). Decent little place to have a snack and a coffee. The owner was very pleasant and his dog is adorable. Has a good selection of food, hot drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, all reasonably priced. Would happily go again.

  My friend and I visited this place an hour ago, AVOID, So rude arrogant and extremely nasty man!! We were ignored for serving at first, then ordered two large beers and asked for menus, on Monday we had seen them advertising banana splits and knickerbocker glory and wished to order these, the young lad, think it was Alan, didn't understand us so I asked for desert menus, he never came back, I saw another gentleman and asked if he spoke English, well never known anything like it, he was aggressive said he could speak any language, then went into a torrent of abuse I tried to ask what the problem was to no avail. We drank the beers paid the bill and left. But that was not enough we went to shops beside and then heard him speaking to the rest of the English people there,having a go at us, we knew because I'm in a wheelchair and he was gesturing pushing one and the wheels. He knows we are leaving this as the hotel printed us a letter for him.

  Always amazing food and wine, fantastic service, always make you feel welcome. A fabulous place for lunch!!

  Very busy lunch time but well worth a bit of a wait for smashing experience.
